My work is based on a contemporary vision of ceramics. My favorite clay material is sandstone, fine white chamotte or cellulosic, then called paper clay. It allows you to work very thin, almost the thickness of a sheet of paper. The pieces produced are both strong and fragile because they are very light. My pieces are either sculptural or utilitarian.
